I would like to thank you all for the wonderful years at Mojo Rosas. I know many of you will wonder why I did not announce the last day of Mojo Rosas as we had so much fun there! I just don’t think it is the end of Mojo Rosas…. but a pause.
As many of you know we are finally opening Egg Harbors newest restaurant concept, Villaggio’s. Italian Steak House. We bought the old Trio building 10 days before the pandemic. As you can imagine, it’s been a long 4 years for us to get the staff and the renovation completed along with Egg Harbors wonderful downtown corridor work. Villaggio’s will be on the iconic corner of 42 and County Rd E. With new sidewalks, street parking and landscaping. We transferred our liquor license to the new property, leaving the Mojo Rosas building with a Wine and Beer license only.
So after much thought I believed us shutting down quietly this past weekend was the best way to do it.
We do have plans to have Mojo Rosas back open at night at Village Café late June if we have staffing to support it. We will have margaritas, mojitos, beer, and sangria along with our Mojo dishes. Please watch our social media for this announcement.
As for Mojo Rosa’s property. It will be renovated into Egg Harbor’s new hot spot, Salute Wine and Beer Lounge. We will be serving modern small plates with fine wines from around the world to taste, sip and enjoy in a sophisticated, modern, luxury atmosphere. Egg Harbors new hot spot for late night. Whether it’s for a celebration or a sexy date night, we look forward to seeing how you Salute.
